Today Henderson County will begin issuing REAL ID’s at the temporary REAL ID Office at 380 Borax Drive.
All Americans will need the ID to board a flight or enter federal facilities by May 3, 2023.
A star will be in the upper right-hand corner of your driver’s license, permit, or state identification card.
The ID’s are free for residents who are at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and can vote.
They are valid for the same length of a driver’s license.
