The names involved in the crash that took the life of one driver has been released.
This happened just after 5 Thursday morning on State Road 66 near Tell City.
Officials say 61 year old Phillip Brown Jr. of Indianapolis was killed after his SUV overcorrected and crossed the centerline.
His vehicle hit Spencer County Deputy 27 year old Ronald Harper Jr.
The deputy was seriously hurt but stable.
He was flown to Louisville for treatment.
ISP say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
