The Indiana State Police is asking the community to bring in their unused or expired prescription medications to their Evansville Headquarters on Saturday.
This will be the DEA’s 22nd “Drug Take Back Day” between 10am and 2pm.
The purpose is to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft and give people a proper place to dispose the medicine.
Items allowed are liquid and pill medications, vaping pens without batteries and vaping cartridges.
Needles will not be accepted.
ISP headquarters is located on Highway 41 North.
