Owensboro Municipal Utilities has a planned water outage scheduled for 300 customers today.
They are making water system improvements in the area from East 4th Street south to East 15th Street between Breckenridge Street and Leitchfield Road.
The work could take up to twelve hours starting at 7am.
Customers who will be affected have been notified with door hangers.
Once all work is completed, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect.
This process is normally less than 72 hours.
