Evansville native and five-time Olympic medalist, Lilly King qualified for the World Championships in the 200 meter breaststroke.
She competed at the 2022 USA Swimming International Team Trials, Wednesday night.
King hit the wall in 2:21.19, which earned her a number one ranking in the world.
She swam along side NCAA champion Kate Douglas, who broke King’s 200 yard breast American record last month, and Olympic bronze medalist Annie Lazor.
In June, Lilly and Kate will represent Team USA at the World Championship in Budapest, Hungary.
