The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation announced new times for the start and ending of the school day for elementary students.
This will start next school year.
EVSC says, this is because of the bus driver shortage.
The new start time will be 8:30 am with dismissal at 3:25 pm.
Accommodations will be made for parents if the new times will interfere with work schedules.
The EVSC has made several routing adjustments, increased driver compensation and ordered new buses because of the shortage.
