The man that pled guilty in the murder of Wayne County Deputy Sean Riley has been accused of an attempted jail break.
Officials say a correctional officer noticed Ray Tate was not in his cell and was trying to escape the facility.
Due to a flaw in the original construction of the Justice Center, Tate found a way to get out of his prison cell.
During his attempt he caused damage to jail property.
Authorities say, Tate was taken into custody without incident.
His sentencing is April 22.
