Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke delivered his 2022 State of the City address Tuesday, in front of the Rotary Club of Evansville.
He spoke on several topics that are concerning, such as gun and group violence and witnesses who refuse to assist law enforcement.
He also talked about being the envy of the Midwest once our mental health facilities are up and running.
Also, a pilot swimming lesson program for Delaware students third through fifth graders at the Deaconess Aquatic Center.
Visitors will have the chance to feed the penguins for a small fee at Mesker Park Zoo in the coming weeks.
The mayor ended his speech by saying, he’s grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of such a dynamic time in Evansville’s history.
