An Owensville Marshall stopped a truck on State Road 65 around 9:30 Tuesday night.
The truck had two flat tires and the headlights weren’t on.
Authorities say, 24 year old Zachary Burns and 26 year old Justin Prater were with the vehicle.
They were suspected of robbing the property of a disabled veteran in Gibson County.
Officials say, the grandson caught the would be robbers and shot the tires out.
The two men were arrested and charged with attempted burglary, trespassing and possession of marijuana.
