The Cave-In-Rock Ferry decided to open today, and continue through 6 tonight, or later if floodwaters allow.
The ferry was in operation for 12 hours on Thursday and expected to close for the weekend.
Early this morning, officials decided to open because the Ohio did not rise much as anticipated.
