Jasper police responded to an accident at the intersection of 15th and Newton Thursday evening.
42 year old James Taves was the driver.
Officers say he was driving on a suspended driver’s license and under the influence of cocaine, opiates and meth.
Taves is facing multiple charges and sits in the Dubois County jail.
