Three members of the same family are in custody after they allegedly beat a man and stole his dog.
Madisonville Police say, Jacob McKinney lured 25 year old Andrew Ferguson to a house on Dempsey Street.
Once inside, that’s when Howard McKinney beat Ferguson with a hammer.
Howard’s son Jeffrey McKinney was in possession of meth, and accused of taking part in the beating.
The extent of Ferguson’s injuries are unknown, but he was able to speak with authorities.
The McKinney’s are in the Hopkins County Detention Center facing multiple charges.
