Evansville police were dispatched to the Dollar Tree on Diamond Avenue around 6:15 Sunday morning for a burglary.
When officers arrived they say they found a shattered window to the front of the store.
Officials believed a shopping cart was used to break the glass to gain entry.
The suspect is identified as 40 year old Jeffrey Miller.
He is charged with Burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
Miller is lodged at the Vanderburgh County jail with no bond.
