McCutchanville Fire Department held a chili fundraiser on Saturday to a hungry crowd.
For the last nine years the fire department has raised money in the name of fallen firefighter Jeremy Tighe.
He was coming back from a call when the fire truck he was in crashed.
His End of Watch was February 22, 2012, one day before his 19 birthday.
One hundred gallons of chili was sold out in fifty-eight minutes.
Jeremy’s mother Jerri Johnson said she was amazed of the turn out.
The money goes into a scholarship fund to help first responders.
