Last November CVS Health announced the closing of 900 stores over the next three years.
The Evansville pharmacy at 101 North Burkhardt Road will close February 26.
CVS says the reason they are closing 300 stores this year is to take a analytical look at changes in population, consumer buying patterns and future health needs.
The pharmacy says they will transfer all prescriptions to CVS at 4700 Lincoln Avenue.
Employees have been offered similar roles at other locations.
