An Evansville couple was arrested Monday afternoon after police found over two pounds of meth in their apartment.
A warrant was obtain by detectives and the joint drug task force.
They searched the apartment of Tamara and William Bacon located in the 3800 block of Terra Trace.
Officers found six bags of meth in their bedroom, along with a loaded gun and over $1700 in cash.
Police say William Bacon is a serious violent felon who has a previous conviction.
The couple are lodged in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
