Mesker Park Zoo introduced their newest animal on Monday.
His name is Joey and he is a three year old Tapir.
He will join the other zoo animals in the Amazonia exhibit.
Last year, the zoo announced they had lost Huey the Tapir to health issues.
Huey came to Mesker Park Zoo in 2008 and lived to the ripe old age of 26.
He was one of the oldest Baird’s tapirs under human care in North America.
Baird is a species of tapir that is endangered with less than 6,000 animals in the wild.
