An Evansville family are without a home after a weekend fire in the 800 block of Allens Lane.
Evansville Fire Department said when they arrived on scene the house was fully engulfed in flames.
The structure suffered heavy damage on the first and second floors and the attic.
Four adults and two children were inside when the fire started and made it out safely.
Officials say eight dogs died and taken by animal control.
EFD said the fire was put out in 30 minutes and is under investigation.
