Officials with Tyson Foods in Robards, Kentucky say they will lay off 200 of their employees.
A statement from Tyson says, “We are shifting our product mix to meet the needs of our consumers”.
“Unfortunately, this change will result in reducing our workforce”.
Heather Risley of Henderson Economic Development says, she has received emails from businesses locally asking to get in touch with the Tyson workers.
