Indiana State Police clocked a vehicle going 93 mph in a 60 mph zone off Highway 41 near State Road 64.
Police identified the driver as 31 year old Justin McGiffen.
Officials say McGiffen showed them a gold badge.
He did so after failing sobriety tests.
He is charged with Impersonating a public servant, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and reckless driving.
He is being held without bond in the Gibson County Jail.
