A Vanderburgh County jury returned late Tuesday with a guilty verdict for Pedro Diaz.
Officials say last July police responded to a call at an apartment in the 700 block of North First Avenue.
A concerned neighbor told police of some strange activity happening at the woman’s apartment.
Officers say as soon as they made entry, the victim told police that Diaz threatened her, and she was afraid to leave.
He told police, if they hadn’t arrived, he would of caused more harm to the victim.
Diaz was found guilty of intimidation and criminal confinement.
His sentencing date is February 10.
