The corona pandemic has caused tri-state schools to struggle to find and keep substitute teachers.
The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation announce on Thursday, they are offering a cash incentive of an additional $40 a day.
Chief communications officer Jason Woekenberg says, the incentive is also a thank you to substitute teachers that are already in the classroom.
