Vanderburgh Central Dispatch confirms that Bosse High School was placed on lockdown late this morning.
The cause was reportedly a man outside the building who was waving a gun at passing cars.
According to information we’ve received, students who were to be transported to other schools were told to go to the library and remain there.
Outside doors and individual classroom doors were locked.
Evansville Police say there were two suspects who were both gone when officers arrived.
No arrests have been made.
The lockdown was lifted at 11:35.
