Owensboro police were dispatched to the Quality Quick store on Fredrica Street about 3:15 Sunday morning.
A man in a green hoodie, black pants and a ball cap came into the store and pointed gun, demanding money.
Officers say the person got cash and escaped on foot.
No arrests have been made.
