A dangerous situation resolved without injury ion the I-U Bloomington campus.
It started about 9pm Monday when a man identified as Cecil Gilbert of Bloomington, barricaded himself into a room at the Indiana Memorial Union building.
He reportedly called 911 several times making statements that made no sense.
Officers approached the room but Gilbert wouldn’t come out.
After officers negotiated with him for a few hours, Gilbert came out and was arrested about 2am Tuesday.
No weapons were found and no students were endangered.
