Monday, Henderson Police were called to the area of North Elm Street in reference of a suspicious person.
Officers found Buddy Haire of Owensboro walking on North Green and Harding Avenue.
Haire attempted to toss a small baggy on the ground, out of sight of the officers.
Police recovered the baggy and found a crystal like substance believed to be meth.
He was arrested for possession of a Controlled Substance and a Parole Warrant.
Haire is being detained in the Henderson County Jail.
