Walter McCarty, former men’s basketball coach for the University of Evansville, claims the school owes him $75,000.
He filed a lawsuit last month alleging the university didn’t fulfill its contractual responsibilities.
Two years ago UE fired McCarty during an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct.
The University of Evansville stated they did fulfill its contractual obligations.
The school is confident the outcome of any legal proceedings will confirm the Universities position.
