A short police chase ends in a crash.
Evansville Police tried to pull over 42 year old Chadwick Barker at St Joe Ave and the Lloyd Tuesday morning.
Police say Barker took off at a high rate of speed.
14 seconds later he lost control and hit a guardrail on Ohio Street.
They say he climbed out of the car and started running.
After several commands to stop Barker surrendered.
He is now facing several charges most of those involving drugs.
He is detained at the Vanderburgh County Jail.
