The Evansville Fire Department responded to a house fire at Third and Michigan.
It started around 8:45 this morning with the homeowner inside.
Anna Dilbeck told Wiky news that she didn’t know what caused the fire.
She knows it started in the back of the house.
Anna was asleep when the fire started.
Her dog Onyx woke her up and they both escaped the burning structure.
The house is a total loss.
