Kentucky State Police investigators have been called in by the Elizabethtown Police Department to look into an officer-involved shooting.
It happened just before 6 o’clock Tuesday in Hardin County.
A Spokesman for the Elizabethtown P-D says the shooting was involved in an ongoing investigation of domestic violence that would have carried some serious charges.
A male suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officer John Thomas declined to say how that person was connected to the incident.
He says no more information will be released today.
