Indiana governor Eric Holcomb has extended the state’s emergency health orders for another 30 days.
The extension is a result of an increase in COVID 19 hospitalizations, along with concern about the omicron variant.
Executive orders allowing key items to remain in place were signed by the governor on Wednesday.
Among its provisions, the order extends the licenses including temporary licenses for health care workers to the end of the year, and outlines individual responsibilities among Hoosiers to prevent the spread of COVID.
