This building made it’s first appearance in a newspaper ad on October 20th, 1967.
The ad read, “We’re changing the face of our hometown, going head and shoulders above the past, to prove our faith in Evansville’s progressive future.”
Come Sunday morning, that so familiar skyline will be just a memory.
The Old National Bank building, at 420 Main, will come crashing down.
