What to do with that cooking oil used in preparing your holiday meal?
This year, the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility can help.
The Saturday after thanksgiving, you can bring your used cooking oil to the Civic Center parking lot popularly known as the “Back 40.”
There will be barrels there for you to dump the cooking oil into, and dumpsters for the empties.
Keep in mind, this event is for meat drippings, canola oil, vegetable oil and the like — no petroleum oils will be accepted.
