The man accused of robbing and killing a Mt. Vernon couple made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
28-year-old Austin Kusturin is now being held without bond in the deaths of John and Elizabeth Hall.
He is accused of breaking into the couple’s home then robbing and killing them.
Funeral services for the Hall’s is this Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Harmony Inn Conference Center.
The memorial service starts at 3 p.m.
