A Tuesday night shooting on Evansville’s south side may have been self defense.
One person showed up at an Evansville hospital with an apparent gunshot wound Tuesday night.
Evansville police say it happened on South Alvord near Taylor.
That’s where E-P-D responded to a shots fired call about 7pm.
Sgt. Anna Gray says a man forced his way into a home on that street and was apparently shot by the resident.
They don’t believe the victim’s wound is life threatening.
No charges have been filed
