There’s been an arrest in the case of a man who showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound early Thursday morning.
The victim called 9-1-1 on the way telling dispatchers he had been shot.
Police located him in the hospital parking lot and rendered aid.
The man had wounds in the chest and arms.
He told detectives he was sitting in his car in the 800 block of Chandler talking to friends through the passenger side open window.
That’s when he said 33 year old Lindsey Fields opened his driver side door, hit him in the face and then shot him.
Fields was located and arrested on aggravated battery charges.
