The second of two people charged in an Evansville woman’s murder was sentenced.
Two years ago, Diamond Sheppard-Rankin was found in her Taylor Street home suffering from stab wounds.
She was rushed to hospital where she later died.
Her boyfriend, Fitolay Demesmin was convicted of her murder and has been sentenced to 65 years in prison.
Kalei Obasa was also charged with assisting a criminal in thee same case and received a one-year prison sentence.
