A woman arrested after firing a gun at a Vanderburgh county Sheriff’s deputy has pled guilty to Attempted Murder.
Diana Ellmers was one of 2 suspects who fled a stolen vehicle and she was the one who fired her weapon at the deputy while trying to escape.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.
An overhead drone was able to track her down during her escape attempt.
Ellmers will be sentenced to 26 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections on November 18th.
