Good news if you are a fan of micro brew beer …
There’s a new project that unites the micro-brews of West Kentucky that is focused on encouraging visitors to visit as many of the 13 breweries as possible.
The West Kentucky Brewery Hop includes breweries nearby like the one in Henderson and the 3 in Owensboro … as well as breweries in Beaver Dam, Paducah, Murray, Benton, Bowling Green, Glasgow and Hopkinsville.
How it works?…
Anyone 21 and older can go to one of the breweries or convention and visitors bureaus and get a brewery passport.
Once you have one, you can try a beer at each of the breweries on the trail.
Each brewery will stamp your passport with its own personalized logo after buying a beer there.
After you either complete the trail or get a stamp from at least 7 of the 13 breweries, you can mail your passport to the Henderson Convention and Visitors Bureau to claim your prize, which is a West Kentucky Brewery Trail pint glass.
They will also mail your passport back.
