If you drive down West Franklin Street this morning you’d never know there was a fall festival.
The cleanup began on Saturday once the booths and rides were removed.
For the next 12 hours, West Side Nut Club members brandished brooms and blowers, moving all the trash from the six day festival into the street where human and motorized sweepers picked it up.
Nut Clubbers have the clean-up down to a science now…
…and why not, they’ve been doping it for 100 years.
