Evansville farmers say its been a good year.
Perhaps even a record year.
It’s harvest time now, and area planters report 10 to 15 percent higher yields than in previous growing seasons.
That’s because the rains came at exactly the right time to maximize what was planted in the spring.
A bumper crop usually means a lower grocery bill for consumers on the other end.
The harvest continues on Tristate farms.
