The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a two-year-old boy after they were called to a possible drowning last Friday afternoon.
The child’s father claimed he had last checked on the boy 5 minutes prior to finding him in the above ground pool of their home.
The child was not breathing when he was found and the father performed CPR until authorities arrived and a pulse was restored.
Despite all efforts, the child was removed from life support on Wednesday
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.
