The West Side Nut Club marks a major milestone, as this year is the 100th Fall Festival.
In commemoration of the festival’s centennial, Nut Club members dropped a time capsule Sunday, burying the container on the grounds of the west side library.
That’s the lot on which festival rides have operated for years.
No one except the current nut club president knows what’s in the time capsule, and it can’t be opened until 2121, the festival’s bicentennial.
