A wanted felon surrenders to police without incident. Officers were checking out a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of Park Street Monday afternoon.
Police say they didn’t find any evidence of gunshots, but learned a man with a felony warrant was hiding in the attic of the home.
They say they used a megaphone and family members to get the man, 43-year-old David Hildebrandt, to come out. He was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on a charge of confinement.
