Work has begun to remove the wrecked bridge over Pigeon Creek on Highway 41.
A new bridge is needed after a truck hit the bridge, damaging it beyond repair.
This happened not long after a renovation project had been completed.
INDOT officials say the actual construction of the new bridge is expected to start next spring.
