Indiana conservation officers were called in by Princeton police after the body of a nine year old girl was pulled from a pool.
Officers were called to the Princeton Aquatic Center before 9 o’clock Tuesday Night on a report of a person being unresponsive in the water.
The juvenile was treated on the scene by EMS and taken to Gibson Deaconess Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Gibson County officers referred press inquiries to conservation officers, who investigate drowning in Indiana.
An autopsy is pending.
