An 11-month-old child is being treated for serious burns. according to the Evansville Police Department.
Police were called to to a gas station near Riverside and Kentucky late yesterday (Monday).
An ambulance took the baby to the hospital.
Authorities say the burns are serious but not-life-threatening.
The investigation appears to be centered around Abbey Court Apartments.
Police say at least one person is in custody in connection with the incident.
