Masks will remain optional for now in E-V-S-C schools.
Superintendent Dr. David Smith says they are following recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Buses are covered by federal transportation regulations, so anyone on a school bus, including drivers, will still be required to wear a mask.
COVID teams will remain in place in all E-V-S-C schools, and short-term remote learning will be available to COVID patients, or students in quarantine.
The EVSC does have a virtual academy option open to students.
