The body of a diver from Owensboro was been recovered from the Ohio River at Kosmosdale (COS-muh-dale), downriver from Louisville.
19-year-old Jaxxyn Lee Wood was reportedly sucked into a pump at Louisville Gas and Electric’s Mill Creek power plant.
Wood was part of a two-man team doing routine inspections when he and his on-short monitor lost touch with each other.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Wood’s death was consistent with drowning.
