Police used a trail of leaky oil to catch a suspected hit and run driver last (Wed) night.
31-year-old Shawn Garrison was charged with leaving the scene of a serious accident.
He was booked into jail just after midnight.
A motorcyclist was thrown from his bike, and suffered life-threatening injuries in that crash.
It happened near Weinbach Avenue and the Lloyd Expressway around 8:30 p.m.
Witnesses reportedly told police that the accident victim was not moving as the driver sped away.
That driver was was arrested after police tracked Garrison by following a trail of oil spots on the street.
